Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be met by a Shafino Wildlife Safaris representative and transferred to your luxury lodge or hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax, explore the charming surroundings, or enjoy a peaceful evening preparing for your safari adventure.

After breakfast, your expert safari guide will pick you up, and you’ll head off to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and rich wildlife diversity. Enjoy a day of game viewing along the Tarangire River, spotting giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and (with luck) lions or leopards. Take in the incredible birdlife, with over 500 species recorded in the park.
After an exciting day, you’ll head to your luxury accommodation in the Karatu area to unwind and enjoy a gourmet dinner.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.
After your final game drive, you’ll return to Arusha or be dropped off at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
