Day to Day Itinerary

Elevation: 1,860m → 2,700m | Distance: 8 km | Hiking Time: 3–4 hours
Habitat: Lush Montane Forest

  • Morning: Transfer from Moshi to Kilimanjaro National Park’s Marangu Gate for registration.

  • Trek: Walk through misty, green rainforests, home to playful Colobus monkeys and vivid birdlife.

  • Highlight: Take a short detour to Maundi Crater for panoramic views stretching into Kenya.

  • Evening: Settle into Mandara Hut’s cozy bunkrooms, share stories, and enjoy a warm meal.
