Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Shafino Wildlife Safaris representative. You’ll transfer to your selected midrange lodge or hotel in Arusha to relax, settle in, and prepare for the incredible adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its dramatic landscapes, ancient baobabs, and large elephant populations. As we drive through the park, keep an eye out for lions lounging under trees, graceful giraffes, herds of zebra, and a variety of birdlife.
Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the park surrounded by nature, followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to your chosen lodge or camp near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Today we rise early to explore the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s Eden. We descend 600 meters into this vast volcanic caldera, home to over 25,000 animals — including lions, elephants, black rhinos, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and more than 500 bird species.
After an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch on the crater floor, we begin our journey back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening — carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
