After breakfast, drive to the famous Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands, with a game view en route. The Serengeti is known for its wide-open plains and incredible wildlife, stop for a picnic lunch along the way, then enjoy your first exciting game drive. Keep your camera ready to spot lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, and the large herds that make the Serengeti so special.

Spend a full day exploring the heart of the Serengeti in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other remarkable wildlife, while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Around midday, proceed to the lodge for a hot and delicious lunch, with opportunities to observe wildlife along the way. After some time to rest and refresh, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive across the vast plains, teeming with diverse animal life. Your experienced guide will assist you in spotting wildlife in the winding river valleys and open savannah.
In the evening, return to the lodge for a hearty dinner and a peaceful overnight stay under the starlit African sky.

After breakfast, head south to the Ndutu area, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This area is the best place to witness the wildebeest calving season (late January to early March), a remarkable time when many newborn calves take their first steps on the plains. The calving season also draws lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering incredible wildlife sightings.
Enjoy game drives along the way before arriving at your camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu Begin your day early with a full-day game drive across the wildlife-rich Ndutu plains. Explore the short-grass savannah, home to thousands of wildebeest during the remarkable calving season, when many newborn calves take their first steps under the watchful eyes of predators. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, servals, caracals, and wildcats move quietly nearby, providing thrilling wildlife encounters. Enjoy a hot picnic lunch near Lake Ndutu, where flamingos gather and resident animals such as elephants, giraffes, and antelopes roam freely. Take the opportunity to capture memorable photographs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the African wilderness.
Optional: For a truly unforgettable experience, consider a hot-air balloon ride over the plains at sunrise to enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the herds and the stunning landscape.

After an early breakfast, you will depart Ndutu and continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater Reserve, enjoying a game drive along the way. Take in the changing scenery and keep an eye out for wildlife that may appear along the road or in the surrounding forested areas.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, disembark at this natural wonder, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and flamingos in the crater lakes. Explore the volcanic floor, observe animals in their natural habitat, and capture memorable photographs. A picnic lunch will be provided within the crater. After your visit, begin the journey back to Arusha in the afternoon, arriving in time to check into your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, enjoying your last moments in Tanzania’s beautiful wilderness. If time allows, you may take part in optional activities, such as a short city tour or a visit to a local market (additional costs apply). Afterwards, your driver will transfer you to the airport. You will also have some free time to relax or do any last-minute shopping before departure.
