1 | Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival in Arusha, our representative and private driver-guide will warmly welcome you, assist with your luggage, and transfer you to your lodge. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax, freshen up, and enjoy some quiet time. You may take a peaceful walk in the garden or enjoy a delicious dinner as you prepare for your wonderful safari experience ahead.

2 | Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 2-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a private game drive spotting giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of bird species, while savoring a picnic lunch in the heart of nature. The serene surroundings make it an ideal safari experience.
The Tarangire River, also known as the “river of warthogs,” provides a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park features areas of dense vegetation, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for a relaxing and peaceful overnight stay.

3 | Day 3: Mto wa Mbu - Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at Mto wa Mbu, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning natural wonders. Descend into the crater for a morning and afternoon game drive, where you may see zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lions, and the endangered black rhino. The crater features rivers, swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, lush forests, open plains, and elephants with impressive tusks, creating a beautiful scenery.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by this breathtaking landscape before continuing your journey to Serengeti National Park. Arrive in the early evening for a sunset game drive, watching the golden savannah light as animals roam and predators prepare for the night. 4 | Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Mto wa Mbu
After an early breakfast, depart around 6:30 am for a morning game drive in the breathtaking Serengeti National Park. You will have 6 to 7 hours to explore this vast wilderness, home to a wide variety of wildlife. The park is famous for the great migration, with hundreds of thousands of zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes moving across the plains with the seasonal rains. Along the way, you may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and impalas. Around 2:00 pm, drive back to Mto wa Mbu and check in at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Enjoy a delicious dinner, relax by the pool, or sip a drink by the fire under the African sky. Spend the night in your comfortable room, completing a peaceful safari experience.

5 | Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After an early breakfast at the lodge, take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but beautiful park 120 km west of Arusha. The park is named after the shallow soda lake that covers much of its land. Depending on the season, the lake is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species.
On the game drive, you may see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and sometimes lions resting in trees. The park is also known for its varied landscapes, including open plains, woodlands filled with primates, and cliffs dotted with majestic baobab trees.
After a packed lunch, return to Arusha, arriving in time for your flight back home or onward to Zanzibar. This journey offers a truly memorable experience, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, stunning scenery, and shared moments in nature.
